Story of Nattork

A few years ago, the Nattork team was just a group of young professionals starting out and juggling the pressures of adulthood. One day, we came across a group of children joyfully skating in a plaza. As we watched, we reminisced about own childhoods when skating was a rare treat with rented skates and only a roller rink to enjoy.

Back then, owning a pair of skates was a luxury. While skating with friends was always fun, we longed for the freedom to skate anywhere we wanted. Now, as adults, we could buy high-quality skates, but that childhood desire for freedom still lingered.

So, we decided to change that and make roller skating accessible for every child. We want them to experience the joy of skating on their own terms, not just within the walls of a rink, and to look cool doing it. That’s how Nattork Skates was born.

The most priceless thing is the smile of a child

When we were children, our minds filled with curiosity about everything. As the years went by, the memories carry some regret about things we wanted to do but couldn’t. Now as adults, we have the power to make things different… better… for the kids. We can bring back that spark of wonder and fun our younger selves experienced.

Starting something new always presents a challenge. As I reflect on the awkwardness of learning how to roller skate as a kid (I wasn’t very adept at sports!), I hope to offer today’s youth the chance to experience skating in a better way. That’s why we designed our products specifically for beginners. Once they take that first step, they can find the power and confidence to navigate on their own.

As Nattork has grown, many of us have become parents ourselves. We’ve come to realize that kids' potential goes beyond roller skates. Scooters, skateboards, and trampolines… These are all parts of how kids explore the world around them. We’re proud to expand our product line to include other fun options that inspire children to explore, dream big, and live boldly.
